When you get out of the car at Froberg's, you're greeted by the seductive aroma of smoked meat, and it's coming from this little place. I recommend the smoked pork tenderloin, chicken and the ever-popular jalapeño and cheese smoked venison sausage. Froberg's started out as a strawberry farm, but now offers a variety of amazing fresh (and cheap!) produce, shelled pecans, fresh black eyed peas, locally made preserves and pickles, and the most drool-inducing fried pies.
